Join the Westwood Hills Nature Center on the shortest day of the year to remember that many in our community aren’t able “to see the light” because of struggles with mental illness or difficult situations. Follow the luminary walk through the forest guided by visual messages from the community. Light a candle in honor or memory of someone who struggles with or struggled with mental health. Gather around a fire in the glowing winter light.
To share the light, create a luminary with your own message to take home and light your neighborhood. Activities ongoing. The event is for all ages.
