When an unexpectedly large vegetable grows in their garden, an elderly couple must turn to an unlikely cast of animal friends for help managing the harvest. This retelling of a traditional Russian tale celebrates teamwork, cooperation, and the joys– and challenges!– of gardening.
Every third Saturday of the month, The Museum of Russian Art hosts a free family activity in the Robert J. Brokop Gallery. Join us to hear a story related to Russian art and culture, learn about artworks, and create a take-home art project of your own. Afterwards, explore the museum with an interactive gallery hunt. Advance registration is requested. Recommended for ages 4-8, but all are welcome!
