“Reunion” is Dreamsong’s third solo exhibition with California-born, St. Paul-based artist Kristen Sanders. Continuing her ongoing exploration of life’s primordial origins, Reunion charts the evolution of biological consciousness in moonlit paintings of fossils, seashells, skulls and other remnants of life’s presence.

Inspired in part by the discovery of one of her late uncle’s paintings on eBay earlier this year, Reunion charts the lineages that bind us to our ancestors and the natural world, constructing a unique cosmology drawn from relics of ecological and evolutionary history.
