Hennepin County Library announces its next Cargill Gallery exhibit, “Weaving Culture: The Vietnamese Story in Minnesota.” This exhibit offers a multifaceted look at Vietnamese culture, delving into the personal journeys of Vietnamese refugees who fled the horrors of war to find refuge in America.

It celebrates the successes of Vietnamese Americans through traditional folks art, photographers, and authors connected to Minnesota, along with paintings, books, and traditional household objects reflecting Vietnamese Minnesota culture. The exhibition also highlights notable businesses and their contributions to the Minnesota community and emphasizes valuable partnerships formed with other cultural communities throughout the years.

Sponsored by Friends of the Hennepin County Library, presented in partnership with the Vietnamese Minnesotan Museum.
